Get the facts in this one short course!

Harassment? Bullying? NOT in My Workplace!

Sept 23 Tues 8:30 am – 4 pm $119

In 2009 alone, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ordered that $294 million be paid out for discrimination in harassment charges. No wonder businesses are working to be more proactive in preventing harassment. How do you prevent harassment from occurring? What sort of policies should be in place? What should managers do to protect their employees? If a complaint is filed, what do you do? These questions….and many more….will be answered in this course.

Instructor: Marina Atma is a certified professional in Human Resources and has been teaching for over 20 years, six years with Customized Training. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from NMSU. Marina’s passion is helping people improve their work and professional skills.

Letter from the President:

Esteemed Members and Friends of SNMSHRM,

Presently we are in a transition of this Web Page that will be to the benefit of the Chapter.  Until the completion of the Process, we recognize that some difficulties will occur with regard to registration for Events or for the Employee Law Update Conference.  If you need, please contact us for assistance in registering for an event, however we have found that the following should fix the registration problem in most cases.

If you are having difficulty registering for the ELU or the Chapter Meeting from the Internet Explorer (version 11) we have been advised by Affiniscape that the solution is easily applied.  Eldelisa, Roseann and I did this simple and quick adjustment and it worked very well.  We always look forward to seeing you at any Chapter Event.  The steps required to adjust your computer occur while you are on the registration page that is having difficulty by taking the following actions -

1.    Click the Tools button, then click Compatibility View Settings.

2.    Under the Add this Website, enter the URL.

3.    Click Add.

4.    Finally, click Close.  Internet Explorer will reload the screen.

5.    Finalize your registration.

6.    Request a receipt to verify registration and payment was successful.

Thank you for your patience,

Joe Provencio, SNMSHRM Chapter President
